Madrid Barajas Airport

The location of Madrid at the heart of Spain makes it an excellent destination for students who need to learn Spanish. Madrid enjoys excellent international communications via Barajas airport which has links with most major European cities as well as many direct flights to America and Asia. There is a direct metro link to the city from all 4 airport terminals.

OISE can organize individual taxi transfers on request at a cost of 95 euros each way.

Railway Connections

There are superb high speed train links with France and the major Spanish cities. The AVE connects Madrid with Barcelona and Sevilla in under 2.5 hours. Chamartin, Nuevos Ministerios and Atocha stations are all within easy travel access to OISE Madrid. Regular trains connect the nearby Nuevos Ministerios station to Puerta del Sol and the historic center in under 10 minutes.

Metro

Madrid enjoys a modern and effective  metro system. The nearest station to the school is Cuzco and from here its just a short journey to all the main areas of interest within the city. The Madrid metro system is one of the best value for money transport systems in Europe. All the OISE Madrid intensive Spanish courses involve a full day of study but there will be plenty of opportunity to find your way around this endlessly fascinating city.
