Intensive Spanish:The News Review

The intensive Spanish immersion process kicks off at OISE Madrid with a News Review session. Over coffee and biscuits, the students go through the daily press before giving a summary of a chosen news item to the rest of the group.

This means that the learning day begins with a genuinely communicative activity. As the students get used to expressing themselves in public, they rapidly gain confidence with the language. The session also gives the trainers an opportunity to identify problems with pronunciation which they can work on throughout the day.
